A charming 3-star AA hotel, originally built in 1900 as a gentleman's residence, with the added benefits of all the facilities of the adjacent, highly acclaimed Connaught Hotel.

The Connaught Lodge is an excellent venue for leisure breaks, private functions, dinner parties and conferences.

The Connaught complex (3-star and Rosette) has its own heated 18 metre indoor and 12 metre outdoor pools, jacuzzi, 2 saunas and 2 steam rooms plus 2 well-equipped gymnasiums. The hotel is located in an acre of its own grounds on the West Cliff, just 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre, the Pavilion Theatre, the BIC, gardens, pier and golden beaches, with ample parking.

A warm welcome awaits you from the management and staff in the reception, which is located in the Connaught Hotel next door.

The Connaught Lodge is an excellent venue for private functions, conferences and leisure breaks. With 27 en suite bedrooms (complementing a further 56 next door), the Connaught Lodge offers the ideal opportunity for an exclusively private venue.

Located in the main building, the award-winning restaurant, Blake’s, has just had a wonderful makeover. The restaurant has been awarded an AA Rosette for the outstanding preparation of its food and the good quality of the ingredients it uses; making Blake’s a must for those who love their food.

Breakfast is available from 07:00 to 10:00, Monday to Friday and from 08:00 to 11:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
